Jan 27, 2013 Carmencita Fiesta

Carmencita is a barangay of the philippine municipality Floridablanca in the province Pampanga in Central Luzon which is part of the Luzon group of islands.

Carmencita is one of the barangays which are in the outlying area of Municipality Floridablanca.

The municipality Floridablanca with a population of about 103,388 and its 33 barangays belong to the partly urban areas in the Philippines. While some of the barangays developed modern urban structures, some others, especially those which are seated in the outlying areas, remained rural. Spent my birthday jogging a few kilometers  to the rice fields and back to our place, Consuelo. And before the end of the day visited old planes inside Basa Air Base.

Consuelo is one of the barangays which are in the outlying area of Municipality Floridablanca.

Basa Air Base (formerly known as Floridablanca Airfield), is a Philippine Air Force base located at Floridablanca, Pampanga in the Philippines.
The base was built and used by the US Army Air Corps before the Second World War and was captured and used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force during the early stages of World War II. Combined American and Philippine Commonwealth military forces were eventually able to recapture it during the later stages of the war.
It is currently named after Philippine Air Force hero, César Basa.
